CAMERA

CAMERA (the Cleveland Area Minority Educators Recruitment Association) was formed in the 90s. Members today include 32 Northeast Ohio educational organizations actively working to “hire teachers who are sensitive and responsive to student needs in a culturally diverse school environment. The districts provide a range of teaching opportunities for large and small schools with diverse student bodies fostering strong community support.”

DREAM

DREAM (Diversity Recruitment Educators Association for Miami Valley) received a $70,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce to help close the gap in diversity among educators in the Miami Valley.
