Finding & Developing Teacher Candidates 

This session examined sources of certified staff and current openings. Attendees reflected on strategies their district currently uses to recruit teachers and consider available data to help find traditional candidates, as well as discuss new approaches to internal recruitment. 

Hiring Process Improvement 

Exploring process improvement tools and strategies for addressing common issues in the hiring process, participants learned how to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in current hiring process. They also delved into key metrics to enable tracking progress and measuring the success of hiring process improvements. 

Employee Value Proposition  

How do educational organizations leverage their unique Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to gain a competitive advantage in the race for talent? Participants discovered the differentiators and communication strategies to gain an edge in recruiting, hiring, and engaging candidates. 

Hiring Deep Dive 

Taking a deep dive into the hiring process, with a focus on writing interview questions, creating performance tasks, and developing rubrics, participants learned best practices for developing each of these components of the hiring process to improve the quality of their hiring decisions. 

Intro to Social Media  

Social media FOMO? Many districts are using social media to bolster their recruitment strategy. In this session, participants dove into commonly used social media platforms and shared strategies to get started, charting a course to becoming social media whizzes. 

Al for Recruitment & Hiring 

Recent data shows Al boosts productivity—If you know how to leverage it. In this session, particpants talked about how it is changing the landscape of education and future of work, and how to use it to support both strategic and tactical operations for hiring and recruitment.
