Grant Opportunity: Educators Rising

Middle and high school buildings are encouraged to apply for a $12,000 award to develop their Educator Rising Ohio chapter as a “grow your own” strategy for teacher recruitment.

Programs that address the following recommendations will receive priority consideration for funding:

• Developing chapters in urban and rural school districts;

• Creating local recruitment plans to attract students of color to participate; and

• Developing plans for expanding existing Educators Rising Ohio chapters to students in middle school or high school freshmen and sophomores.
